We have not abandoned the project nor the community. It is just more productive to focus on development, seeking partnership and investors/investments than answering every negative comment that is being posted. We know that the negativity is justified but instead of being negative, you can contribute positively to the development of Syntrum (Etna rebranded). It has been a challenging and overwhelming year for the team and for me as a person, so staying away from the negativity and focusing on what we are working on is how I cope with the burnout. I for one, and many of the team members are a strong believer and soon as this phase is over, everything will be smooth sailing, we would have secured funding, migrated and also onboarded strong team members including a very capable CEO.

Hello everyone, please be rest assured that we are very much active, and we are working daily on the development of Etna Network. I know that there are a lot of questions the community have and are yet to be answered. We will do our best to answer all these questions in their respective due time. Any questions that cannot be answered right away simply indicate that it is an item that is still being addressed and no final decision has been made. We (Etna Network) are at a point of turnaround, we have had some time to step back and reevaluate things and re-strategize and as such, and I can assure you all that we are working on the new direction of things. And with specific questions about the development of Etna Network products especially with the game, the team is very much committed, even with the impact the Ukraine Russia war had, where it was almost impossible to continue payments to Russian developers/companies, we are still working on all products, some are just being developed faster than the others. As for the VC firms, like I said previously, an offer was received from one and as it was not the best offer from a community standpoint, a counteroffer was sent to them. We are still waiting on their decision. We are also maintaining communication with several other VC firms and we are optimistic that a number will yield positive outcomes. In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that our main goal at this time is the implementation of strategies that will result in Etna Network securing notable partnerships and investments from VC entities. This has been our focus and we have been working on this for about 2 months now. I would like to apologies for all the delays and to assure us all most importantly that the wait is almost over. Etna Network Updates on DeBank Following the flashloan/price oracle exploit that that happened several weeks ago, the following changes were made: Price rates update for all the supported collaterals have been changed to manual mode. In this mode, the price of collaterals that determines borrowability is now updated at certain times within a 24hr period and not in real-time. With this update, such exploit is no longer possible, hence DeBank has resumed normal operation and users can go back to using it. As a permanent fix, that ensures full-proof, debank major updates to the use of ChainLink price oracle for major coins/tokens with an inbuilt check mechanism that further validate the prices of collaterals has been developed. It is currently in testnet and will be deployed soon. Etna Network Investment Negotiation Update: In about 2 weeks ago, an Initial offer was sent to Etna Network from one of our potential investors. We immediately reviewed it and sent back a counteroffer. At the moment, we are waiting to receive an update from the said investor, and we are also in communication with other investors. Going forward: We can all agree that Etna Network has faced so many challenges over the past almost 2 years, all these challenges have been teachable moments for us, and we have learned, and we keep strategizing to overcome these challenges. At this, we are ever dedicated to the success of Etna network, we keep working hard and exploring strategies to make strong partnerships and Alliances. At the same time, we keep developing all aspects of the project, DeFi aspects, gaming aspects and the NFT aspects as well. Price Manipulation Exploit on Debank. Note: Do not panic, the issue is being fixed. About 17hrs ago, an exploiter took advantage of a vulnerability in DeBank custom's price smart contract. The exploiter was able to take a total of about $23,616 in stable coins from BSC and from Polygon. How was it exploited? 1. The exploiter took a flash loan from Aave 2. Used the flash loan to buy ETNA from pancakeswap and polygon respectively 3. Due to the volume, the purchase momentarily increased the price of Etna by over 100x 4. With some etna already deposited as collateral, exploiter took loans within the same flash loan transaction which was 100x more than what is collateral worth 5. the Etna purchase was then sold and the flash loan returned. 1-5 all took place within the flashloan and as a result occured in an instant. Work on the full game is still in progress. We know that it has been delayed and a lot of you are tired of waiting for an update. Please do give the team more time. Some of the delay has been with onboarding a veteran/senior game dev in-house that will work closely with the game studio that we partnered with. Others include the fact that we do not have investments from VCs, as you know, developing such games costs a lot and takes time. As you have seen, some projects that are building p2e raised millions to facilitate the development. Such funds that Etna Network do not currently have. Not to worry, we are working on changing this. Like I said about a week ago, we are currently talking with a VC firm that has shown strong interest in Etna Network. With this secured, the p2e/metaverse aspect of Etna will move quicker and smoothly. Also, the overall view of Etna will change, and Etna will finally begin to gain global Audience.
