RECAP ON DEBANK Etna Network’s lending and borrowing dApp (DeBank) has been live for the past few days. It is now fully integrated to both BSC and Polygon. Growth in TVL So far, we have seen some increase in the amount of stable coins deposited by lenders. On the other hand, we have not seen borrowers taking credits. We believe that with some more time and publicity, the activity will increase. Updates in Lenders Bonus Rewards Also, though the bonus rewards for lenders is experimental, it was incorporated to also incentivize growth in stable coins TVL and we think it is getting some lenders incentivized but we also think that it is not as rapid as we expected (maybe because we are yet to do a lot of publicizing, we are working on that). For this, we see the need for the rewards pool to be spread out for a longer time. Meaning that the same pool of rewards will be distributed over a longer period of time. With this, Lenders will still get bonus rewards in ETNA and it will be at a healthier APR. With the spreading taking effect within the next 24hrs, the bonus pool size will be equivalent to about 1,250,000 ETNA tokens distributed to lenders over a period of 1 year for each network As the goal has always been to ensure the success of Etna Network, this change is a logical one to make and I believe that the community all see the sense in that.
